Another Children’s Book Week has come and gone, and I was delighted to share stories with kids at Carmel School, Lesmurdie Library and High Wycombe Library for City of Kalamunda. I always love meeting readers and seeing their enthusiasm for books and writing. Thank you to the teachers, librarians, and the Children’s Book Council and Healthway for making it happen.

I am also delighted to announce that City of Light has been shortlisted for the Educational Publishers Awards Australia – in some very fine company, too!

In other news, I have a publication date for How To Avoid A Happy Life – 30 April 2024 with Fremantle
Press – so I am about to return with a new and improved website, actual dedicated author socials (much as I’m sure those of you who follow me love seeing my dogs!), a newsletter and all those kinds of things.

Writing for a new audience is very different, but I hope those of you who’ve joined me on my writing journey, as they say, will keep following me on this new branch of it.
