I apologise for my blogging laxness: I have been away, and thence contracted a hideous virus on the plane, from which I have not yet recovered.  I promise I will get back to it, but in the meantime, I just wanted to let you know that I will be at the Melbourne Writers Festival next week (if this sodding virus ever leaves me, that is), and would love to see you there.
